Easy One Hour 3-Ingredient Bone Broth
Looking for an easy way to make bone broth in your Instant Pot? This one hour recipe yields nutritious bone broth (and doesn’t make your house stink)!
  1. Place chicken bones (fresh or frozen) in the Instant Pot.
  2. Add salt, vinegar, and water. Make sure you do not fill beyond 2/3 full — roughly the 10c line if you have a 6 quart.
  3. Check the sealing ring, attach the lid, close the pressure valve.
  4. Select MANUAL for 60 minutes.
  5. Once program is complete, allow pressure to release naturally.
  6. Strain the broth. You can re-use the bones a second time, adding fresh water, salt, and vinegar.
Recipe Notes

If you want to make your life a lot easier, freeze leftover chicken carcasses in these containers so that they are already in a round shape and therefore easy to fit in your Instant Pot (cook straight from frozen!).

I use this strainer to strain my broth when it is done. Or I’ll use this 8″ mesh basket and simply lift it out to remove all bones.
